There has been no sleep for me yet tonight. As I contemplate the state of the world, I feel discouraged and not just a little scared for myself and my family, especially the little ones. I leaf through the scriptures and good books to find some peace. I find this quote by President <span style="color:#ffff00;">Hinckley</span>, "There is so much of hatred in the world. There is so much of bitterness in the world. There is so much of selfishness in the world. There is so much of arrogance in the world. What a marvelous thing to have in our lives the quality of mercy, of reaching out to others in a spirit of mercy, love, and kindness." We are blessed when we serve one another, and the scriptures tell us that we love whom we serve.
